Blood donor day
The second British Residents' Society-organised blood donor morning of the year took place on Saturday, with 50 people giving blood at the Dr Akcicek Hospital in Girne.
The blood collected was then sent for storage at the Lefkosa State Hospital blood bank.
Anyone who missed giving blood on Saturday can go along to the Lefkosa blood bank and donate there at any time.
